Single Dwelling Course of Construction (COC)
and Commercial General Liability (CGL)
This builder broad form coverage is purchased for single
family homes on a per project basis. This type of policy is
perfect for small to medium sized builders (10 homes or
less/year) looking to protect your financial interests.
(Note: All Insurance Policies are subject to restrictions and exclusions.)
This coverage is available to those Builders who may
require or desire coverage for, but not limited to, office
contents, contractors equipment, tools, tenant
improvements (for leased offices), and of course
commercial general liability coverage for your business.
Annual Commercial General Liability Policies

These policies are for Builders who have completed
construction (or close to it) of the home but do not yet
have it sold. This 3 month insurance policy allows you,
the Builder, to put on the finishing touches to the home,
put it up for sale, sell it and keep your investment safe
until the new owner takes possession.
Vacancy policies

This type of policy is applied to big Multi-Unit
projects, and can include Wrap-up Liability
coverage. This type of policy provides the coverage
needed for those multi-unit projects that typically
exceed $1 million in construction cost. The wrap-up
liability provides liability coverage after the project
has been completed; even after you have sold the
units and moved on to your next construction
endeavor.

Once you, the Builder, have completed your
multi-unit project, we can assist you in setting up
the Strata Corporation’s Insurance policy. This
ensures a seamless transition from the Builder to
the Strata Corporation.
